It is hard to measure the success of a year. The financial analyst in me wants to look at the revenue goals that I beat, the profit margins I improved, the number of sessions that I booked, or the average sale that I raised. But 2016 was about a lot more than numbers.
In 2016, I traveled the most that I ever have. I struggled with health issues/anxiety/stress/my own ego, which nudged me into a greater dependency upon Christ. I met incredible women, learned their stories, shared in their victories, cried with them through their losses, and prayed for them fervently in the ups and downs. I made new friends, made significant business investments, and set even higher goals.
In 2016, I set out to remember the Horses That Built Me. I shared with you the stories of Sunny, Raz, Junior, Tahoe, Vinny, and Sudsy. I cried ugly tears and shared deep parts of my heart.
I can’t thank my clients, friends, industry peers, and sweet husband enough for all of the love and support they have shown me over this last year. Over the next several weeks, I will share my favorite images, most popular blog posts, biggest features/news, and silliest bloopers.
