2020 was an incredible year for me.

The year began with my educational business “Learn with Kirstie Marie Photography“ launching new courses and being invited to Speak at the Equine Photographer’s Retreat in Florida.  As soon as I returned to Texas, I was honored as one of Cowgirl Magazine’s 30 Under 30 award recipients during The American Rodeo.

Immediately after, the world shut down. Despite being completely closed for 6 weeks in the spring (during what is normally my busiest time of the year), I still managed to log:

100+ sessions

170,000+ images taken

24 flights (and about a trillion flight cancellations/reschedules)

9,000+ miles driven to shoots

10 Magazine Covers
