Earlier this year, the WCRA and PBR announced a revolutionary event in women’s rodeo – the Women’s Rodeo World Championship. A first-of-its-kind, the event was open to any female athlete in the world competing in breakaway roping, barrel racing, and team roping. The finals paid out over $800,000 and were held during the PBR World Finals at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
