Choosing a Season

If you’re trying to decide on which season to schedule your photography session, understand that the time of year produces slightly different imagery. I’ve created a quick visual summary below to help you decipher your personal preference and favorite aesthetic.

Winter

With bare trees and dead grass, Winter lends itself to all things neutral. December through March are perfect if you love GOLD and neutral tones.

Spring

Fresh grass, new leaves, and colorful flowers make Spring vibrant. If you love COLOR, March through June are perfect for you!

Summer

The Summer is for SUNSHINE and the color yellow. During June through September, there is still beautiful color, just a bit less saturated.

Fall

Love surprises? The Fall months can offer just about anything. If it was a dry spring/summer you can expect soft neutral colors. If there was considerable rainfall, it could still be green. Come mid-November the trees begin to change color and the sunsets are golden.
