To be named (BY YOU!!!!) as one of the best equine photographers for 5 years in a row is mind-blowing and incredibly humbling. What an enormous honor and a major career highlight. I started this business in 2013 at a season in my life when I was horseless. My camera gave me access to pet pretty ponies and talk shop with fellow horse-crazy girls. I fell in love with documenting the special relationship between a girl and her horse and this has grown into a career that has been such an enormous blessing to me and my family.
When I am noticed for my gifts, it is only a reflection of Jesus — the Giver of the gift. I am so thankful to Jesus for the blessing this small business has been, the love I have for the women I get to work with, and the most incredible horses I have the opportunity to photograph. I love what I do so much, and I love who I do it for even more.
I have to thank my incredible clients who trust me with capturing such precious memories for them — it is such an honor I don’t take lightly. I am extremely thankful to my husband Jake who does all of the hard work and gets none of the glory! And thanks to Alicia Porter for selflessly helping me at every photo shoot.
